About Us
K-9 Roscoe
Bird Dog Power Washing is named after the owner's retired K-9 Roscoe. K-9 Roscoe served for over 8 years with the Myrtle Beach Police Department. He was a rescue turned K-9 from the Grand Strand Humane Society. Roscoe loves serving his community and being a part of it. We unfortunately lost him in May 2022, but his legacy will live on as we will continue to support the local animal shelters and rescues in his name.
Owner
Kenneth Harlow grew up in Northern Virginia and moved to South Carolina in 2003 to attend Coastal Carolina University. He earned his B.S. degree in Biology and has extensive knowledge and experience with landscape and design. In 2009 Kenneth joined the Myrtle Beach Police Department and was paired up with K-9 Roscoe a couple of years later. Even though Roscoe is retired and no longer with us, the two had an expectational bond and a lifelong impact on our lives.
GIving Back
Animal Rescues
At Bird Dog Power Washing we believe in giving back to our community. We love our animals and know the stress to keep up and maintain an animal shelter and rescue. We have teamed up with shelters in both Georgetown and Horry counties to assist them with cleaning their property up each year. This allows the properties to receive a deep cleaning each year and allow the staff the time to work on other task.
Home For the Holidays
Each winter Bird Dog Power Washing pays for the adoption fees of dogs from local shelters to get home before Christmas. The unconditional love of a dog is one of the greatest rewards there is. We want the dogs to feel that same love with great families and enjoy the holidays and start a new life.
